Testing to see what happens.

Ok, so I don’t see a picture. Starra, I followed your directions – this is the stuff from Flickr that showed up: it said “copy and paste this HTML into your web page”. What am I missing? (Sometimes I hate computers. Argh.) Thanks for the help, babe.

Okay, the code works for me. Sorry, I guess you suck, or something.

You’ve got the code right, but it’s getting encoded when you enter it into LJ. Are you using a WYSIWYG editor? (ie, have buttons and such where you can bold, change fonts, colors, etc…) If so, there should be a button that allows you to switch to HTML mode… some WYSIWYG editors have a button that looks like this: <>, some have one that says “HTML” … if you mouseover, it should say something like “view source” or “view html”. Click on that, enter the code from Flickr there, then give it a go. 🙂

Hey babe, it looks like you’ve just put your commands in the wrong order.

For HTML, follow this example (except delete the *):
    < *img src="http://www.example.com/image.jpg" alt="title or description" height="y" width="x" />

So your text should look like this (except delete the *):
    < *img src="http://static.flickr.com/76/223453363_f562fbe04b_m.jpg" alt="Sunset on the last night" height="180" width="240" />
