Travel to countries that I had never been to; lived for seven weeks in Prague; shared a bedroom with a stranger (to begin with at least – love you Nicole!)
2. Did you keep your New Year’s Resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I said I wanted to be better to myself this past year, and I was, but there’s still work to be done. I’m doing 101 things in 1001 days which is taking the place of regular NYR.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Yes. Miss you, Glenny.
5. What countries did you visit?
Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Finland, Russia, Estonia, England, and the US of A.
6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
Properly fitting bras.
7. What dates from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
June and July as my travelling months, and September as the month I got my Kit-Katt.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Completing the requirements for my first major. Making the decision to change my life in a drastic way. Not killing any of my Prague buddies while living together at the Kolej. *laughing*
9. What was your biggest failure?
I don’t think in failures; I think in learning opportunities.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I rolled my ankle three times (although one or two of those may have happened at the end of 2006), and I hyper-extended my knee at martial arts. IBS has been acting up recently but that’s because I haven’t been keeping up with the chiropractor.
11. What was the best thing someone bought you?
Dad paid for our travels around Europe. It was pretty damn special.
12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
Umm … I dunno.
13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
President George W Bush and his cronies.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Prague.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Prague and subsequent travels.
16. What song will always remind you of 2007?
“Destination” by Alex Gaudino

a) happier or sadder? happier
b) thinner or fatter? fatter
c) richer or poorer? depends on your definition
18. What do you wish you’d done more of?
I wish I had taken more pictures during my travels, not just of the “wow” stuff but the boring everyday stuff that I have already started to forget.
19. What do you wish you’d done less of?
Whine and bitch.
20. How do you plan to spend Christmas?
Spent it with the family, as always.
21. Did you fall in love in 2007?
No, thank goodness. Relationships take too much work and frankly, right now, I’m not interested.

Kiss and tell? Nah …
23. What was your favorite TV program?
Scrubs, House, and Grey’s Anatomy. Anyone else see a pattern?
24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?
I don’t think I hate anyone … I dislike a few people quite intensely but hate – that’s a strong word.
25. What was the best book you read?
I very much enjoyed “Until I Find You” by John Irving.
26. What was your greatest musical discovery?
BBC2
27. What did you want and get?
Andy.
28. What did you want and not get?
More sex. *grin*
29. What was your favorite film of this year?
I only saw the newest Harry Potter movie in theatre and I didn’t think it was a very good rendition of the book.
30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
Ate Thai food and watched the hockey game with my bro. I turned 28.
31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
More sleep.
32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2007?
Comfy.
33. What kept you sane?
Purple Dragon.
34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Zach Braff.

The environment.
36. Who do you miss?
Friends that I don’t speak to very often.
37. Who was the best new person you met?
Not just one person but the crew in Prague.

P.S. Went to the docs today to find out why I have been sick for a week and it turns out I have Strep so I have a legit reason why I have not made plans with you yet!!! I started the antibiotics today (that SUCKED big time) so I am hoping to be up and running (literally, I miss my gym, and I miss you) soon.

Because I have homework to do…
1. What did you do in 2007 that you’d never done before?
Travelled all over Europe, re-lived high school drama, made a good friend, took Humanities classes, Spent nights in hotels with my man.
2. Did you keep your New Year’s Resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don’t remember what mine were, if any. I generally don’t believe in resolutions. Probably something about going out of country and getting more exercise which I did both of.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No.

Money

All of my Europe Trip (May 14th, June 28th, August 30th stick out). Christmas because of my wicked present.

Paying for my Europe Trip and successfully having fun with my boyfriend overseas.

Maybe being emotional but I can’t help that- I try, but I can’t.

I got sick in Poland and went on Antibiotics plus I received crazy Polish grandma medicine and then came home and got Strep for Christmas.

Tomek bought me an ipod and concert tix for my cday and x-mas. My uncle paid for my Europe accessories which I love and my mom bought me juice mix and sent it to me which I think is sweet.

Mine for staying real to myself

Certain individuals who shall not be named.

France and Prague and my car

Writing home to my family because I forget a lot now that I am home and the Postcards help.

I stayed in love if that counts.

Zero. Unless…. No. Zero.

House because we could watch it on the internet in Europe

No, if I did start off hating anyone it has simmered to pity, dislike, disrespect or simply not caring

The last Harry Potter. I didn’t get much reading done last year!

Christian Dior Makeup. It’s pretty.

To win the lottery. I guess it’s my own fault for not buying any tickets!
I always want a dog. ALWAYS.

Honestly I don’t even remember what I saw. Harry Potter in London and 27 dresses at home. Harry Potter was good but I don’t think I had read that book so I can’t compare.
30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I made dinner for my best friends and watched movies then went downtown the following week in a limo to a club which I can handle once a year and once only.
31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Sleep is a good one, Erin. I think maybe more close friendships.
32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2007?
Globetrotter on a budget

My boyfriend

I love Ellen Degeneres

The environment and consumerism

My grandparents

I’d say Erin. Plus Tomasz’s uncle who makes Tomasz look like a nice boy haha.

I am worth what I believe I am worth and what other people think or say of me cannot change that.
