First items completed
January 1, 2008erin 5 Comments »It’s officially been the new year for 56 minutes and you know what that means? I can finally start crossing things off my 101 list! I bought a frying pan with a lid yesterday – I know it was one day early but I dropped into Ming Wo to see what they had, and it was on sale for $30. I could have waited and gone back to buy it later this week but that conflicted with #34 (combine trips to use less gas). I was there, I wanted it, it was on my list; ergo, I now own it.
I’m going to take a picture of it and my wok when I get up later, and my slippers too. I think it will be fun to try to take as many pictures as I can or are possible of my accomplishments over the course of the next two or three years.

I had many woks before but I always buy the cheap shit from Ikea and then the teflon starts flaking off or it gets scratches, etc. The one my mum bought (and never used, and therefore gave to me) I think is higher quality so it should last.
I hope so, because my wok is the item that gets the most use in my kitchen.

Wow! I’m currently working on doing 52 new or fun things this year, an average of 1 per week, but 101 in 1001 days is even more ambitious! Definitely like your list, I’m getting inspiration from it as well (since I haven’t finished the actual list with things I want to do this year..) Good luck, I’ll be coming back to see your progress :0)
