Post percentage
May 28, 2008Erin 5 Comments »In the 184 days that I have had this blog, I have posted 178 posts. That is equal to 0.967 posts a day.
It’s funny – there are days that go by when I can’t think of anything worth saying, so I say nothing, and then there are the days when I have so much to say that I post two or three or four times.
I would have guessed my number to be lower than that. What about you? In the past six months, what is your post percentage?

Current online archives start… Nov 29th 2002. 2009 days. (Actual blog started in ’98 sometime, but the first 4 years are offline.)
3664 posts in that time (although that includes 3 drafts that I started at some point and haven’t finished.) So. 1.8 posts per day, over 5 years and 6 months to the day.
Yeah, I post too much.

Woo Donna! You have me beat by almost a post a day!
And actually, I love it when my friends show that they have new posts up in Google Reader. Sure I read a bunch of people that I don’t know, but the local folk and the folk I know in person are just that little bit more interesting. So I say, post away!

I don’t even know how to figure it out! 3-4 per week. Not so prolific. I wish I wrote more, but I don’t always have the time (or the inclination).

If you use WordPress, it tells you how many posts you have published. Check the first day that you posted, add up all the days between then and now, and then divide your posts by your days. Voila!

Noooo! Don’t make me do math on my blog! That’s just wrong.
I will just say that I post a lot less than you!
