I was doing dishes at 10pm, wondering what the hell my upstairs neighbours were doing that was causing all the banging and crashing.
Then I realized it was the fireworks. The sound bounces off the mountains and makes it sound like they are right outside the door.
Anyone go watch them?

I don’t much like the fireworks anymore, bad experience downtown with the big crowds, watched some poor guy get the crap beat out of him while everyone watched uggh, senseless violence

I know that they have said that there is less violence this year than in previous years but I guess I just saw too much of it when I used to go around the age of 16. That was back when I liked large crowds of people and could hang out with friends for hours on end … ha! Not anymore!!
