I never thought I would be so interested in US politics that I would watch a debate all the way through, but I did tonight. Of course, I admit that I wanted to see if Palin failed. And in case you missed it – she did. Biden, on the other hand, rocked it. His answers were intelligent and well said. The problem is … I’m not sure how many Americans can appreciate intelligence.*

* I say this because Americans voted Bush in for a second term. That was not an act of intelligence.
