I’m studying for my life insurance licence and in an effort to concentrate and actually buckle down and do it, I’m doing a group study with a girl I work with and a couple of her girlfriends. They are all younger than me by about 8 years, and they are gossiping about how they got so drunk last night or last weekend, and gossiping about their other friends and … well, it just seems tacky to be talking about this kind of stuff in public.

I think I’m officially ‘old’.

    I hate overhearing conversations like that between young girls/boys. What’s even worse are the “they’re SO HAWT OMG!” conversations though.

    I’m beginning to think it’s not limited to age. You should hear the gossip and politics at the school I’m working in. Seriously people, you’re trying to teach your students that it’s immature… and yet?
