Although I already announced on Facebook that I had been approved to adopt Tawni, I got the real full 100% approval today.

SQUEEEE!

I am having a home visit tomorrow (which means I need to clean my house tonight because it’s a little messy) and then I get to bring her home with me on Wednesday morning.

I took her for a walk after planning all this and I swear the grin never left my face. I am so excited I don’t know whether I’ll be able to sleep tomorrow night! At least there will be  hockey game to entertain me and fill up some of those hours of waiting …

I can’t wait to start training with her, and Donna and I have already talked about doing some training ‘together’ – if together means in the same vicinity as each other so our dogs have to actually focus.

There will be pictures galore in the following days so stay tuned for doggie cuteness! (And hopefully kitty cuteness too – I want Andy to be happy and ultimately I want the two of them to be snuggle-buddies. We’ll see.)
