I worked six nights in a row which is hard

Tuesday was a battery recharge day. I went out on the dyke with the dogs and it was sunny and warm with a light breeze. I was in a tank top and shorts! There was no sounds of humans – all I could hear is the waterfall across the river, birdsong in the trees, and the sound of the wind in the long grass. The dogs had happy ears, happy tails, and happy smiles.

Pretty close to heaven, actually.

I had a new boarding dog, a 6 year old lab named Beau. He is a retired stud dog for a local group called PADS that trains assistance dogs. Beau was just the loveliest dog, super snuggly, playful with Dodge. His only issue was that he thought Bosco was super sexy, and wanted to hump him all the time. Poor Bosco did not enjoy the amorous attention so I ran interference for him.

I’m about to go into an interview for aa year long full time temporary position in my company. I haven’t interviewed in a log time so I’m feeling nervous but also I think I’ll be ok :).

You’ll rock the interview! Good luck!

The dyke sounds wonderful. We have plenty of quiet places here to let the dogs romp, but they aren’t very close to make them a regular occurrence. 🙁
