I’m always ‘entertained’ when the media portray bdsm with the submissive partner as a victim. I have never felt less of a victim than when engaging in fully consensual* sm activities. *My caveat being, of course, that without full consent on both sides, it stops being sm and becomes assault.

There is only one and a half boxes left to be unpacked, and a whole wack of cardboard that needs to be recycled. Then I need to hang up some pictures and I’m done! Speaking of pictures, Lori linked to the coolest Canadian art company today and now I have a new want. It’s only [...]

Waiting is the hardest thing

I have the BEST word to play in Scrabble. It’s 92 points and it’s not even a bingo!! I’m waiting with bated breath for my opponent to make their next move, hoping that they don’t use the space that I need. Seriously – 92 points? No bingo? That will make Scrabble history. For me at [...]

Late fees

December 17, 2007erin 1 Comment »

I have over $8 in late fees owed to the library. That’s a little ridiculous. Methinks I’m off to the library tomorrow evening to get that sorted out. The library in Lynn Valley has moved into a new location and is finally open for business. It’s going to be hard going in there, since I [...]
